Pronunciation Of English Vowel Sounds

I would like to suggest my 1st year students watching a series of videos made by my British colleague. In her lessons Jennifer explains how vowel sounds are pronounced in English. This is the focus of our lessons at university. Perhaps Jennifer’s explanations will also help you to refresh the information and let you have more practice.

If you want to learn more about the regional varieties of English such as North American, British and New Zealand accent watch another Jennifer’s lesson. She offers you to compare the ways three native speakers pronounce the words.
I also liked the video offered by another ESL teacher who on his youtube channel (iswearenglish)  illustrates the variety of regional British accents. I am sure more advanced learners will appreciate it too;)
